PlayOJO Launches the Campaign 'Too Much of Anything Can Be Bad'

PlayOJO, the popular casino, has in the current Safer Gambling Week 2023 a campaign called 'Too Much of Anything Can be Bad' showing through funny videos different cases when too much of a good thing can turn bad.

Safer Gambling Week began November 6, a week promoting safer gambling. PlayOJO contributes via their campaign 'Too Much of Anything Can be Bad’.

Chief Marketing Officer for PlayOJO, Peter Bennett, said:

"We are longstanding supporters of Safer Gambling Week and, like previous years, this year we wanted to run an additional paid social campaign to help increase awareness of safer gambling above and beyond the Safer Gambling Week."

PlayOJO takes safe gambling awareness seriously and has been a big part of increasing attention over the years. This campaign is centered around four videos that will be shared on all significant social media, such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

Chief Marketing Officer for PlayOJO, Peter Bennett, added:

"To do this, we needed to create something that we felt would stand out and reach players on the channels they spend time on to ensure our message hits the broadest possible audience."

The videos features seven instances when too much of a good thing can turn bad. The examples may seem silly, but it has an underlying message about the seriousness of when gambling can turn bad. And also to remind players about the importance of staying in control of playtime and money spent. The campaign engages the viewers and is fun and a reminder that too much of a good thing can also be bad. The cases are, for example, when someone eats too many carrots, the skin can turn orange. Other examples are too much time spent indoors, too much sun, too much time in the bath, too much caffeine, and too much spicy food.

Chief Marketing Officer for PlayOJO, Peter Bennett, added:

"This is a quirky and fun campaign that aligns with our overall brand positioning but with a clear main message about why players need to stay in control of their play; too much of anything can be bad."

PlayOJO shows its contributions to safer gambling via campaigns. Still, most importantly, they offer safe tools for players to control their playtime and money spent on their casino. One feature, for example, is the Safe Mate, which provides players with a complete picture of their day gaming to see the exact time and money spent easily.
